Engineered for high performance and reliability with 316L Stainless Steel solid shell housings and ACME threaded caps, XP models are offered with pressure ratings from 2,000 to 15,000 psi using PTFE bellows, Buna-N, EPDM or Viton bladders. Choose from a wide range of inlet options, including Blacoh’s exclusive flow-through inlet design that effectively removes both hydraulic and acoustic pulses in high pressure applications for exceptionally smooth pressure and flow. ATEX, CRN, and ASME available on specific models.

The New Generation XP

Sizes up to 122 cubic inch (2.0L) and pressure ratings to 15,000 psi (1,034.2 bar).

Blacoh’s SENTRY XP Series pulsation dampeners offer better performance and more options for high pressure applications. Larger capacity models up to 122 in3 (2.0L) with pressure ratings up to 15,000 psi are ideally suited for metering and dosing applications typical in the oil and gas industry.

Economical construction.

Blacoh’s XP Series Dampeners with PTFE bellows are oriented so that the cap and anti-extrusion disk are the only wetted components. With this design, in applications requiring Alloy 20 or Hastelloy C, the larger non-wetted components are constructed of 316L stainless steel and only the smaller, non-wetted components use the more costly alloy.

Note: PTFE bellows wetted only construction available in other alloys on both single and dual cap models.

PTFE Tough

Now available on all models up to 15,000 psi (1,034.2 bar), Blacoh’s unique PTFE bellows have an excellent flex life, are compatible with virtually all chemicals and solvents, and can withstand temperatures up to 220°F (104°C).

High Frequency Solved

SENTRY XPH flow through models are engineered to remove high frequency pulses greater than 15 Hz, as well as low frequency pulses. This unique flow through design allows the XPH model to effectively remove both hydraulic pulses and acoustic pulses for exceptionally smooth pressure and flow. With a properly sized XPH dampener, residual pulsation of less than 1% can be achieved.
