APPLICATION:
MID South Wire Co., Inc. in Nashville, TN uses Yamada Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps to supply the feed of sulfuric acid to the centrifuge which is a continuous process and requires a smooth and even flow rate as possible

PROBLEM:
The Double Diaphragm Pump was giving good service but the customer either had to change out the pump for one with continuos flow or find a solution for the pulsating flow.

SOLUTION:
A Blacoh 1" Polypropylene unit with Teflon elastomers was recommended to the customer. The customer purchased the unit and installed it. He was very pleased with the quality of the flow conditions out of the pump after the pulsation dampener was installed. The customer has since purchased another unit for a similar application.
